(2007-2008), ESoCE-Net was responsible for the design of the collaborative cluster in aerospace, on behalf of the financing agency of the LAZIO region, Filas (http://www.filas.it). Activities included the definition of Governance, collaborative processes and ICT platform for the network.
(2009-2011) Collaborative and Robust Engineering using Simulation Capability Enabling Next Design Optimisation Integrated Project in the 7FP THEME 7 Transport (including Aeronautics) CRESCENDO will develop the foundations for the Behavioural Digital Aircraft (BDA), taking experience and results from VIVACE, and integrating these into a federative system and building the BDA on top of them. Main components of the BDA are: the Model Store, the Simulation Factory, the Quality Laboratory, and the Enterprise Collaboration Capabilities
(2004-2006) The Virtual Enterprise Network program (http://www.ve-net.co.org), launched by the Yorkshire Regional Development Agency called “Yorkshire Forward” (http://www.yorkshire-forward.com), in which ESoCE-Net, the sole partner coming from outside the UK, was responsible for the identification of the legal and organisational framework for the operational structure aimed at supporting the companies.
(2012 – 2015) The aim of the Odysseus project is to develop an Open Dynamic System (ODYS) enabling the ‘holistic energy management’ of the dynamics of energy supply, demand and storage in urban areas, on top of an open integration platform supporting the integration scenario’s for designated urban areas exemplified in the cities of Rome and Manchester. While in Manchester project results will be validated on a mature energy efficiency environment, on Rome it is in the early stages of dealing with energy efficiency in public building. So comparisons among each scenario will enrich conclusions on project results.
